I own a 51 coe 1.5 ton 15000gvw truck. I have access to rear wheels off a 1973 c60 ( I used to own the truck). The axle on the 73 is a "GM corperate" I was told by a good friend of mine that I trust but I don't know what that means. Any chance the 73 wheel will bolt onto my 51coe.

I also have a electrical switch on the dash of my coe that is not in the manual. It pulls down from the lowest part of the dash under the head light switch. Any idea what it does with out tracing the original wires?

This Thursday January 8th I plan on running my truck in our local "uller" parade. Uller is the snow god here in Breckenridge Colorado (ski town) and it is mostly an excuse to drink in public. I plan on strapping a wood stove to the flat bed and heat up some apple cider and pass them out to who ever wants it. Yes I will try to post pictures. Wish us luck. drew

Short answer is no, the 1973 C60 wheels won't fit the AD 1.5 ton truck, different bolt pattern. Measure them and compare.

Likely you can use 19.5 wheels from a step van or Chevy 3500HD, but check to see they fit over your brakes first. If they fit you'll still need bushings made to adapt the small hub to the larger wheel center hole.
Or a better looking solution is 22.5 wheels, but a little harder to find, read all about them in the tech tip.
