My brake booster is bad. My question is,can this unit be rebuilt? If so, can a shoprat like myself do the work or do I need to send it out to be rebuilt. If not rebuildable are new ones available? What kind of $$$$$$ are we talking about. What is the best way to go?

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!

I don't think those are rebuildable, or at least not by the average guy.
Here's some prices from Napa, both alone, and with master cylinder.

Oh by the way my GMC has a 305 V6.
I think this makes a big difference I believe.
