I'm doing a "quick & dirty" restoration on a 63 C10. It is my parts truck for my 67 Camaro restoration. When the Camaro is complete, the C10 will get the full treatment.

The coolest thing about restoring my Camaro is a full parts supplier right down the road.

The question--
Who do you guys rely on for sheetmetal and other parts???
Does anyone know of a local supplier in the area of Dallas, TX?
I hate paying for shipping, and I really hate waiting for a week or more for the parts to get in!

Thanks!

I have heard nothing but good about American Classic Truck Parts.

I have bought quite a few parts from them and have been very happy with them.

Nope...Aubrey is about 30 minutes north of me, so I was excited about he possibility of having a supplier for all parts (not just sheetmetal) and advice...

I called and the guy said, "No store, we are mail-order only."

I am going to look for local club that can fill in on the advice side.

The nice thing about Firewheel Classics for the Camaro is that I can go in and talk "shop" with the owners and they almost always have good advice. They owner has built several Camaros, so the "Been there done that" is kind of reassuring when I'm a little over my head!

Yeah, I ran in to that here. GMC Paul is 30 minutes away, so I figured I'd pick up all my parts there.. nope. They don't have anything, they're just a front desk for a chinese factory.
