o.k. folk's , i've read about the different , front susp. ,, but has anyone tried a later model chevy p.u. cradle ?? also if i keep the straight axel would a vega box work ? or should i just try to tighten up the stock box ?? i'm not in a hurry ,, but i have time while the weather is crummy , thank's for ideas, steve

Several of us on here and others have put the 63? to 87 Chevy truck front suspensions under the AD trucks. There are some problems to overcome. Look up my past posts on this subject and the ones from Mobileortho.

Mine is not on the road yet, but I am inching closer. Stupid bodywork is what is slowing me down.

I haven't seen a Vega box used yet but it seems possible to me. That would be a neat set-up, keep us posted if you decide to use it.

I looked into a vega box for mine but was told the boxes were too light duty for a truck. Whether its true or not, it was enough to send me in another direction.
