With any kind of load, 2-dirt bikes, the tires rubbed. In cornering they would rub the inner and outer wheel well in the rear. The truck was stock height.
I don't know how anyone could run 10" wheels and not have problems with out the truck looking weird. | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | The Chevy truck Rallye wheels, which were introduced in '73, only came in a 15x8, with a 3 1/2" backspace. That's what i'm running on mine, with a 30x9.50x15 tire, no rubbing or clearance issues at all.

| | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | They ran to '87 on trucks, '91 on Blazer and Suburban. They're also still available new from Kelsey-Hayes. One thing to watch for on the later ones, they have 6 tabs in te center bore that interfere with the fit on the older truck hubs. They added them to make for a tighter fit on the 4x4 hub on the later trucks. They're not hard to grind out, though.
