What size tires should I get for stock 15 inch wheels on my 57 3200? I know someone will just have to tell me 15 inch so I know that much already. 1957 Chevrolet 1/2-ton Stepside LB in the Gallery My Photobucket shots The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873) | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | I'm real happy with the Yokohama 700R15LT tires on the 58 3200 ... a little harsh for some, being 10 ply, but they have the right look and do the job I want, haulin stuff Bill | | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 443 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 443 | What are you hauling Bill, 55 gallon drums full of lead? I am looking for something in a little lower price range. BTW, you have a very nice looking truck. 1957 Chevrolet 1/2-ton Stepside LB in the Gallery My Photobucket shots The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873) | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | The OE size was 6.70-15, in either 4 or 6 ply. The closest current equivelent tire is a 215/75/15, though availability of anything over a P rating (4 ply) is slim.

I'm running C range tires (6 ply) on mine.
