Complete turn signal assemblies, including wiring harness and factory plugs, as well as, rebuild kits, are available from the following aftermarket truck suppliers:
www.bowtiebits.comwww.lmctruck.comwww.classicparts.comwww.oldchevytrucks.comand many others.
I have also found them used on eBay for significantly less money, however you run the risk of a fragile unit and failure in the same way your's has failed, when buying used.
In any case, the repair or replacement of this assembly is very common and a relatively easy process. You will need to remove the steering wheel (puller and 3/4" socket required), in order to do the repair.
When doing this repair, I always apply di-electric grease to all contact areas during reassembly. This will ensure good, smooth operation of the newly installed unit.
Good luck with your project and let us know how things turn out.
