She still needs some fine tuning, but with that being said she really sounds good. It has been a long time since I've heard the old girl; I felt like a kid at x-mas when the old bolt fired over.
Does anyone have any initial start up stories to share, good or bad?
I just had to share, I haven't been this excited about the '57 in some time.

#47640 07/13/2005 11:06 AM | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,554 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,554 | Know what ya mean.I remember the first time I fired my 55 up after the modifications.It was running right off of the headers,no pipes or mufflers.First drive was to the exhaust shop to have the Flowmaster system installed.About a 10 mile drive.A very loud ride.Went to pick it up the next day and boy did it sound sweet,exhausting thru the Flowmasters.Since then I have made many more improvements to it,but that first drive to the exhaust shop was the best. | | |
