Switching over from dual point dizzy to a Petronix pointless dizzy. There are 2 wires from the new dizzy (red and black). Do both of these wires go to the coil anlong with the wire from the firewall? Wire from firewall was hooked to positive side of the coil.

Sorry to be a pain in the butt here, but you may be well served to review the installation instructions that come with each unit. If you go here
http://www.pertronix.com/support/manuals/ and select the type of unit you have, you should be in good shape.
