I need a picture of the fire wall and how the loom's are routed. I have installed the driver side loom and it fits nicely. I have the horn switch to install and need a pick of where the relay go's. Also need a pick and info about the passenger side wiring. Was the passenger side wiring a loom by it self. The wiring that is there now is home made. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2619350460093759043jWvMAo?vhost=good-times
I didn't do it, no one saw me do it, you can't prove anything! "Bart Simpson" | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 687 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 687 | So here is the skinny. The shop manual for the 1941 1/2 ton shows no relay for the horn. The same manual shows the 1941 car has a relay. The manual has the wiring diag. for both the car and the truck. The one for the truck is labeled car and the one for the car is labeled truck. The way I know these are reversed is that the one labeled truck shows 2 tail lamps and a license plate lamp and the one labeled car only shows 1 tail lamp. I now need to know if the truck ever had a relay for the horn?

I'm 99% sure the '41 had no horn relay. Looking at a '41 horn would confirm this. It probably has two big fat terminals on it...one for power and the other for ground through the horn button. If this is true, it means no relay.
Does this sound right?

Thanks Stuart Today I will hook that sucker up and then on to power outlet (cigar lighter) pedal assy. and floor pan. Then we start the engine, I can't tune it yet due to not having an exhaust or radiator installed, I just want to hear it run. Cant wait to see Betty Boop in her new red dress rolling down the road to points unknown.
