For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 88 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 88 | my clutch has been bleeding off on my 62. I replaced the slave cylinder, which helped alot, but it still bleeds off though not near as bad. I figure I need to rebuild the clutch side of the master cylinder. Heres the big question. Can I just replace the o-ring to get me by the holidays?? Or should I replace the master cyl. If it were the brakes I would replace the master but the brakes are fine. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 125 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 125 | you can get a kit to rebuild the cyl. IF the bores in good shape! I have had some bores come back after ball honing them, but only when they had minor flaws.
