As far as I know, just the park light hole.
Get a few more answers/opinions before calling that a fact though..

As Grigg describes, except the 1954/55 GMC and Chevrolet fenders had greater differences due to a change in the Chevrolet grill and parking lamps.

OK just was able to put the 2 types of fenders next to each other and the GMC and Chev fenders seem to be different at the front between the headlight and the grill/ hood opening . the Chev has a more pronounced point and seems to angle out forward more , maybe because of the shape of the hood? Anyone else run into this before or am I just the lucky one with 2 different fenders.

What years are the fenders you're looking at?

If you have enough AD fenders to make this comparison you are the lucky one.

'54/'55 1st fenders of both Chevy and GMC have an indentation for the parking lights on the lower front surface of the fender. Do these have that?

I have heard that the GMC hood will not fit the Chevy fenders on 1947-53 models perhaps that is the difference you are seeing. It makes sense that there is a difference in the area you describe.

First answer is no indentations on either fenders. If you place them side by side the Chev fender is longer on the hood edge also the angle from the headlight opening to the hood side edge is greater to accommadate that dimension. That was the first thing I noticed placing the fenders together

Wheel opening seems the same.. are you thinking big truck fenders? I know for sure the GMC came off a 1/2 t suburban.

I was wondering if the Chevy fenders came off a big truck. I have some early Chevy and GMC fenders out back. Maybe over the holiday I'll get a chance to compare them. I don't beleive there is a difference, but I'm not certain.
