The fittings on the filter housing end were a reular flare fitting,and I need inverted flare fittings.
I called the vendor, and they informed me that this is the only one they make,
Does anyone know where I can get oil lines with a 1/4 pipe thread on one end and a 1/4 inverted flare on the other??
The filter is an AC. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 99 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 99 | I have a FRAM (but AC uses the same fittings) in my 1951 3604 and I got new replacement lines from Jim Carter and had no problems. I'm curious as to where you got your lines. I assumed all of the vendors used the same manufacturer. I'm pretty sure you have the incorrect brass fittings on the canister itself. I restore these old canisters and get new inverted flare fittings at my local Ace Hardware. I cannot get them at any of my FLAPS.
