Has anyone polished their offy intake manifold?

I want to do mine and I am looking for suggestions on how the best way to do it and was it worth all of the elbow grease.

it is a lot of work to polish cast aluminum, but it could turn out nice.

I did not polish mine, but I glass beaded it and then coated it with Eastwoods Diamond Clear Coat. I have not run the engine yet, so I do not know how well this is going to hold up, but it is supposed to work for this type of application. Here's a link to some pic's of this engine:

make sure to read up on the greaselss compounds. they basically turn a buffing wheel into a sanding wheel. my biggest mistake i made when polishing my supercharger was to not smooth out the surface WELL with greaselss compounds before starting with the rouge.
