I was able to link to Flicken's page......no problem.

Lots of good info there and apparently he's putting out a good product. Seems a bit pricey, but if he's the only game in town, then he can charge whatever he can get.

I don't know what source code even means. I did however reset safari, on the 'ol mac here. Which does empty the cache. I checked again, and its still there, though the price is now $79, dangit, I payed a hundred bucks. But I 'ain't no nerd-box guru.

the source code is the info behind this page:
http://www.wiperman.com/ [the one in our links list]
on which there is nothing displayed because there is only the instruction "<!-- Nothing to see here. -->"

going further into my links I do find the FAQ page:
http://www.wiperman.com/faqpage.html
and the rebuild page:
http://www.wiperman.com/rebuildpage202.html

he must have decided he had enough business without a findable website ohwell

This link now works for me now but it wasn't on line for some reason the other day http://www.wiperman.com/
So apparently he is still doing business as usual. Must have been a glitch in there web page or something.
I don’t think $79 plus $8 shipping is that far out of line if they replace the worn parts like the piston. What I do think is kind of pricey are the meds that my wife needs from the pharmacy to stay alive. Why deny a guy forty or fifty bucks for labor and over head when he has to dissasemble, clean, reassemble and test your unit!
Since I'm an old retired dude and my labor isn't worth anything anymore, I would just as soom do my own rebuilding if possable. I wish rebuilding kits were still available for the wipers and water pumps but that’s not gonna happen. We're lucky we can still get parts to rebuild starters, generators and carburetors. Those may just dry up one day and just imagine what your gonna have to pay to send them out.

He apparently had his website down to change his price. Last night after reading about his service I found his site and it clearly stated $79 plus shipping to rebuild. Tonight it's up to $99 plus $8 shipping. YIKES!! Hard to imagine why he went up because he's using old TRICO parts he bought years ago.

He's about to price himself out of the market if you ask me.

Unless he's the only game in town. Anyone know of another rebuilder or of anyplace that sells replacement kits/parts?

he IS the only game in town, when TRICO liquidated, he bought 100% of what they had .... no doubt prices will continue to increase as his supplies dwindle

Danchuk, the 55-57 car guru is the only one I've heard of who has even the gaskets, which are specifically for 55-57
