For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 1 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 1 | I have recently purchased a 1933 Chevy 1 1/2 ton that has "weathered" weather strip on the exterior of the roof. I was wondering if any one could tell me what was originally used by Chevy, and if it is availble by a repro manufacturer. One other question is if anyone could tell me what grill emblem is original and if they are available due to a theft of mine. Thank You | | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 12 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 12 | I have a couple of 1933 1 1/2 ton trucks and neither have any exterior weather strip on the cab - only steel and originally painted. Both of mine are masters. Being depression era trucks, there is nothing fancy on them. They were built for work and lack added touches found on cars of the same time frame.
As far as the grill emblem goes - a blue and white bow tie with "Chevrolet". | | |
