I recently bought "new" old front leafs to replace the ones in my truck, because one of them went flat and now the whole front of truck is 3" lower on one side. Before I put the springs that are currently on my truck on I put a new LMC truck shackle kit on them.

Now, the "new" leafs I have for the truck need that threaded bushing for the front spring eye, but the rest on my shackle hardware on the truck is perfect.

It's a '57 3100 if there is a difference.

Long story short:

Are just the threaded front eye bushings available individually, or with the little threaded shafty deal?

...and....

Can I buy them at a local parts store?

I asked the local joint, and I got the regular blank stare I usually get when I don't come armed with part numbers.

Thanks guys, I figure my ol' Chevy truck support group might be able to help!

Hy RabidScott, could you transfer the "new" bushings from the "old" springs, to the "new" springs??? If not all I could find by crossing numbers from GM to napa was a whole shackle kit, GM 3741083 = Napa NCP2741766 $43.49, hope that helps.

That was my first thought, but I was worried I'd mess them up trying to remove them from the old spring and be stuck waiting for parts.

Thanks a ton for the part number, I might go pick it up and return it if I don't need it. If I remember correctly, the leaf spring eye and frame bushing were the same, so the kit should have two of the bushing I need!
