New clutch and pressure plate 10 months ago. Has worked great until a few days ago, my clutch pedal seems to loose pressure. For example, yesterday the truck sat all day at work, i get in to go home and i have to pump the pedal 5 or 6 times to get the pedal up where it needs to be to dissengage the clutch. What do you think ? Need a new slave cylinder? Any help would be appreciated. p.s. once i have pumped the pedal it is good to go until the next time it sits a while. Its best to put a kit in the master cyl. & slave cyl. both. They are easy to do & kits are not expensive. The cyls on the clutches are seldom pited because they take a full stroke each time they are used. It is still a good idea to run a hone through them. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | |
