For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 17 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 17 | Hello, I am in the process of rebuilding my 1946 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup and want to check the frame dimensions. The rear of the truck was hit at one time and the rear frame rails are slightly bent behind the rearmost crossmember. Is this in the shop manual? If so, where can I get one. Does anyone have a dimensional diagram with measurements that they could fax or email me. Thanks for your help, Al. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 79 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 79 |

Looking for the dimensions that the body shops used to straighten frames. None of my local shops have anything this old. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 272 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 272 | Try a factory assembly manuel, Mine on a 56 had more deminsions than I know how to decipher.
