I have a bad #$% filter mount from a harley, but it has 1/8 pipe threads, 3/8 in hose max. I sure wanna run it. BTW I got my 261 off the 'bay for 300.00, running perfect, I also have a t-5 fenton intake and speedway headers. Also mallory dual point with vacuum, and an 848 shaved .040" with a fresh valve job. It's all going into my 1962 fleet/ short big window truck, WHOO-HOO!

The full flow filter needs at least 3/8 pipe thread fittings. The 1/8 fittings are used with the bypass filter. I believe that the late 261s that came with full flow filters used 1/2 pipe fittings.

| | | | | Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 582 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 582 | I used 1/2" stainless steel lines with double flare brass fittings and mounted the filter directly on the motor so there was no issue with the lines being flexed as they "ride" with the engine.
