I was attempting to remove the rubber insert from the front leaf spring piece where the u-bolts sit. This cast iron piece is also where the rubber bumper sits in. I broke mine yesterday and need to know where to get one or if anybody has upgraded there suspension would you be willing to sell this piece!

if you broke the mount riveted to the frame, you just gotta find a replacement from another frame - what kinda truck?

chev235,

Try contacting Bowtie Bits or Jim Carter Truck Parts (in the Links section of this website). They might have used pieces. I have never seen these pieces sold new or reproduction.

Also, try placing an ad in the Swap Meet on this website.

My local old chevy truck junk yard has buckets of them. If ya can't find one, I'd be happy to pick one up for ya. Let me know.

Thanks ... I tried looking for the new piece and no one had it. I was able to find something in the swap meet.

Shipwright...If what I have doesn't work I might take you up on the offer. Thanks!
