I think it's a 250ci engine, but when I bought plugs today for a 1971 250ci the plugs were the 5/8" plugs and the ones in there are the 13/16" plugs. Also the threads were twice as long on the bigger plugs.

On the head toward the back passenger side is 4487 toward the front passenger side is 4485 F 20.

On the block toward the back passenger side is CCON2 21 4 and in the middle passenger side is 3850817 0 then underneath that a GM then under that 20.

Thanks in advance,

-Jon

Hy jon6.0, according to Inliners International, that is the block casting number for a 62-78 230 or 250, hope that helps.

Thanks! What can I look for to tell me if it's a 230 or 250?
