When I took the carb off, it had this funky screen under it. Is this a factory item? Neo50 I'm amazed at how easy everything is to come apart (not like my '66; breaker bar & heat!)& how new everything looks inside. Except for the valve cover & 1/2" of oil sludge inside. Engine turns over real easy. Maybe too easy like no compression. That was one of those gimmics that was supposed to give you 100 miles per gallon fuel milage but of course any one that wasn't a total idiot didn't fall for it.

The only reason I asked is cause this truck sat in a field/salvage yard for maybe 20 years. Everything else is bone stock. Heck, judging from the sludge the owner didn't care enough about this truck to change the oil. Maybe I'll do some performance tests.  Scott | | |
