I`m looking for a rebuild kit for a single barrel downdraft carb. Is there anyone in Canada that might sell a kit? Has anyone adapted a better, newer style carb on an old 1950 flathead six???? It started to puke fuel everywhere and I had to walk home, this happened after I had sprayed carb cleaner down its throat while running. Reason I did that was, it seemed to sputter quite abit and would die if I stopped while driving.I took the carb off and gave it a quick teardown and clean. Now it runs, but needs at least 1/4 choke to keep it running. Can someone help? Thanks,Darcy
