Can anyone tell me which trans to use? I seem to recall a post that said that a mid 70's or 80's truck had a 3 speed od. Can anyone confirm this? What do I look for? I realize that the torque tube will have to go. I have also been informed that the pumpkin from a 55-56-or 57 car will fit the stock banjo. Is this correct? Thanks for any help given. | | |

A T-5 5 speed from an 80,s S-10 is the best unless you have a super high power engine. There is lots of info on this in the tech section & some previus posts. Or do a search on yahoo.

I also like the S-10 5 speed.
