I don't have any hard numbers to back it up, though. One problem may be that I had a couple of parts carbs, and I found the largest jet to install. It has vastly improved the performance, though.

I think my mileage has gone down same as fab51. I'm getting ready to adjust valves and check timing again...maybe that will help.

Only have about 250 miles with new engine and carbs and Fenton headers. Will get back when I put another 250 on it.

I also installed a fuel pressure regulator to bring the fuel pressure down to about 4 1/2 to 5 lbs. | | |
