Doing a clutch job & the flywheel was bad as was the clutch pack.
But there is no pin in the crank flange to hold flywheel centered. Will a 350 be the same??

Mine has the hole in the crank & flywheel but no pin.
There should be one in there. Its a hardend pin.

The flywheel is suposed to be balanced & put on in only one position, Thats why theres a pin. The pin also holds it to the exact place on the crank.

The flywheel could be put on using any holes you want.

I got another 366 flywheel about a mounth ago & there was a pin in there to. But you cant get the pin out cause the pan is in the way & it dont work to try & pull it out with a vise grip. So will have to order some.
Wrench Fetcher if your 427 dont have a pin & there is a hole in both the crank & the flywheel I would get one & put it in there there under $2.00 ea. | | |
