For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 119 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 119 | LMC sells this stuff (p.13 of the 47-59 catalog), but for the life of me, I can't remember taking "webbing" off the truck ('57 short step) when I it came apart. What the heck is this stuff for and why would I need 30' of it?
Is this related to the substance (sort of a cross between foam and cork) that is stapled between the reinforcement panel and the front fender? If not, what the heck is that substance and what's an acceptable alternative?
