I have a 55 Chevy car with the 235 six. My original carburator is shot so I found a restored Rochester Model B for trucks with manual choke, I didn't like my auto choke. This carb has new throttle bushings. My question is how does the choke cable connect? It has a cable stop on the choke lever but where and how does the cable sheath fasten. Is their a braket I need? Where can I find one? Any pictures would be great. Thanks.

Abyars;
Need a bracket that mounts on the top of your carb and has a tensioning screw for the choke cable housing. Call Jim Carter's used parts department. I got mine from there and worked great.

I have that exact part on the way to me from Mothertrucker in AZ. He can be found in the swap meet on this site.
He tells me it also includes a hold down for the throttle. Since my foot throttle is all seperate I am assuming he means the cable/hand throttle which my truck was lacking.
