i always keep my eye out for panels since i have wanted one for years. i finally see one one a couple of blocks from my house. i know the guy a little but not much. and even saw him buy it at a auction. i see it's for sale and i go over to look at it and it has burned on the inside. i think alright!! i might get it cheap, i ask how much and he says........ $3500!!!! i can't believe it it has had a electrical fire all plastic is melted, glass cracked, inside is black. is he nuts or what???

He's about three thousand nuts! I see 60/66 panels for sale often for under $1000.

He's testing the market. I wonder what he paid for it at the auction. To me, its way too steep.

Metal does not react well to that kind of heat, you might think its all straight so all you need do is remove the damaged interior and glass, and replace it, but you'll have problems with the body because of the fire damage.

I'd say its worth $350 because of the possibility of running gear parts and the value of the scrap metal. But that might be overpaying for it...

oh, there was no way i was going to buy it for that price. the 350 was more what i was thinking, prob not give over 500 for it. but man i just can't believe asking that for it. it really irritates me because when he does finally give up and sell it to scrap yard for 200 i won't be around!! oh well, i have my eye on a 53 hornet 15 miles out of town. haha

I got my 63 panel for free, theyre a kick but from the back of the doors back theyr different than trucks. if everthing is burned out it would probably cost about 3000 just to get it decent again.
