I bought the truck from my uncle. He did not have a title for the truck. His brother-in-law had owned the truck and has since passed away. I went talking to the MN DMV today up in Brainerd a small town where my truck is stored. After talking to them and telling them the situation that he died and had no kids or a wife they told me I can get the title free and clear with out even bonding the vehicle. MONEY SAVED!! I just need to fill out a proof of facts form from the DMV. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 18 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 18 | Congratulation. Goods news from the gov't is rare indeed. It probably worked in your favor that you did this in a small town.
