Finally got the engine compartment done. The following are some pix photos.
Before
After cleanup.

Finished 1
Finished passenger side.
Finished drivers side.
Out for some fresh air.

Should be putting this motor in later this morning, or Saturday. Also got a couple of photo's of my brother in laws finds after he made the mistake of selling me his.

I assume the engine compartment is painted silver? Looks good whatever it is.

Thanks Czechman. It's one of the new "chromes". Might need a set of sunglasses when I open the hood! cool Was very pleased with the results. Especially with this being my first project.

Very nice.That's a lot of effort making it look that good. When the V8 is dropped in ,it'll just pop!!
