I see a lot of you guys calling the 47-53 Chevy's AD or advanced design. Where did they get this name? They were marketed as such in factory promotional materials. Most often they used it like this Advance-Design.

As Brad stated above, for some reason Chevrolet hyphenated Advance-Design but GMC did not hyphenate New Design as the name of their 1947-1955 New Design Trucks. | | |
