When I got it the battery was hooked up negative ground. The truck runs fine this way. Is it supposed to be positive ground? I have had no experience with positive ground so I'm not sure. Thanks for any input. Ward

I can cross-reference a part number to tell if the system was originally positive or negative ground, assuming it's got an original-equipment regulator on it. If it's not a Delco unit, my reference books probably won't be much help.
