I want to convert from manual to power steering on my '62 c-10 with v/8. Are there stock parts available, and if not, can I use some later model truck parts ? Has anyone done this ? Thanks in advance.

The typical conversion consists of a 67-87 Chevy/GMC truck Saganaw PS gear box with a frame adapter for your truck.
You will also need the PS pump, mounting brackets, pulleys & hoses to match your V-8. Also a rag joint or universal joint coupler for the column. Various aftermarket vendors have the "kits". Carters, ABS, CPP, & Truck Shop to name a few.
There are some differences between the 60-62 trucks and the
63-66 models for the conversion. I'm fairly sure the pitman arm is different between the early & later, there may be some other differences.
There are a number of posts in this forum on this subject.
