You know when the BigBoss has been making you watch too much HGTV when you look at your new purchase and say "That Carolina Blue on the dash does not fit the decor of the truck".

Dash is primered but not painted. Steering column and bracket and painted flat black. I hope to get this 55 2nd driveable by next spring.

Yes, to your HGTV problem.

The hood in one of your pictures, DSCF1335.jpg, looks like a '57. Is that what it is? Curious.

That hood is a super rare option for a 55. It has the factory experimental vertical stabilizers that look just like a 57 hood. Seriously, everything on this truck is wrong or backwards, including the hood. I kind of like it, but if I find a good cheap 55 hood I will put it on. Thanks for asking.
