www.classicgenerator.com I put four new brushes and springs in my 69 year old starter and hit the juice tonight...
The old beast moaned ad groaned and fr a second...i thught it was going to fire WITHOUT the ignition circuit energized!!! I put some power to the distributer and a squirt of starting fluid down her throat and WHAM...It's ALIVE!!! My 14 yr old was beaming! You'd o thought he built the darn thing himself!
It was pretty cool! TONS more work but at least we know it will run sitting in the backyard! LOL!!!

Just remember to start 'er every once in a while, if it's like mine, I have to mess with her every couple days or she gets mad and won't start very easily.
