I'm working on a product for our 41-46 trucks. What i need is a picture of a stock firewall, hopefully one that is clean, showing all the proper holes. Mine, i suspect, has some extra holes. Please send it to [email protected]

No better smell than that of fresh paint. I've been building and painting cars/trucks for 47 years. Not gonna stop now.

Jimmy, what kind of product are you working on?

Joker, the last link (of the '45) didn't work.

I don't want to say right now as to what the project is until i get further along. I really need a picture of all the holes in the firewall. If one of you would post a close up of the left side and then a picture of the right side, i'd appreciate it. Is it everyones option that 41-46 firewalls where all the same? Cecil....

Jimmy,

The lit'ra'ture says, I think, all models were the same from '41 - '46, maybe 'cept the COEs.

One possible variation would be whether heater was installed - thinkin' there are "knock-outs" for the heater coolant lines. (Mine doesn't have a heater)

Here's a few of my firewall, HOWEVER . . . mine has a fire-engine related accessory that mounts on the passenger side firewall, so I've got holes that others don't. Use 'em if they help.

Hope this helps.

This firewall photo was taken at last years 3rd Annual Stovebolt reunion KC. I believe it was a 3/4 ton although I don't recall (could have been a 1 1/2 Ton.) Unfortunately I don't remember the owner's name either although he was a 'Bolter.

Nevertheless, this is about as bone stock original as you will find.
