What i need is a picture of a stock firewall, hopefully one that is clean, showing all the proper holes. Mine, i suspect, has some extra holes. Please send it to [email protected] Cecil........ | | | | | Joined: May 2007 Posts: 275 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2007 Posts: 275 | As for as I know, this is a stock 46 firewall 46 Firewall Frank

No better smell than that of fresh paint. I've been building and painting cars/trucks for 47 years. Not gonna stop now. http://www.coxcustomcars.com/ | | | | | Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 |

Joker, the last link (of the '45) didn't work. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 586 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 586 | I don't want to say right now as to what the project is until i get further along. I really need a picture of all the holes in the firewall. If one of you would post a close up of the left side and then a picture of the right side, i'd appreciate it. Is it everyones option that 41-46 firewalls where all the same? One possible variation would be whether heater was installed - thinkin' there are "knock-outs" for the heater coolant lines. (Mine doesn't have a heater) Here's a few of my firewall, HOWEVER . . . mine has a fire-engine related accessory that mounts on the passenger side firewall, so I've got holes that others don't. Use 'em if they help. http://www.me.com/gallery/#100021Hope this helps. -Michael | | | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 553 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 553 | Mikestem, that link don't work either. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 581 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 581 | Geeze, it worked when I previewed it! I believe it was a 3/4 ton although I don't recall (could have been a 1 1/2 Ton.) Unfortunately I don't remember the owner's name either although he was a 'Bolter. Nevertheless, this is about as bone stock original as you will find. Don My 1941 in the Stovebolt Gallery My Photo AlbumBut I tried, didn't I? ... At least I did that.
