Hi-
I have a speedo and a gear reducer out of a 2 ton GMC truck. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get the rubber diaphram for the gear reducer. This is mounted to the back of the speedo drive and has a vaccum source to it. When you shift your 2 speed rear axle, it pulls a lever down with vaccum, changes the ratio to the speedo so the correct speed is showing. Any tips would be appreciated.

The diaphram is bad on the reducer, giving me a leak and does not show correct speed.

Try Ohio Valley Microtech, on Bardsdtown Road in Louisville, KY. They used to be Ohio Valley Speedometer Supply, and changed the name when they started rebuilding automotive computers, etc. They repair just about any small electro-mechanical device, plus rebuilding speedo heads, gas gages, etc. I don't have a current email or phone number, but a web search should come up with something.
