How much trouble is it to replace rusted rocker panels? What all is involved, and do you need special tools?

Sorry, but I'm a carpenter, and don't have much knowledge about such things.

I'm not sure if I was ever as good as I thought I was, but I know I'm not as good as I used to be.
I've forgotten more than I ever knew. Okay, where did I put it?

It would probably help if we knew what kind of vehicle you were working on. Personally, it's embarrassing to admit but I lost all of my psychic abilities when I was only 7 years old.

If memory serves me Chezman has a post of webshot photos a page or two down in this forum called something like inner and outer cowl question. It shows the right side rocker replacement on an advanced design truck.

Sorry, I'm a [censored]. I didn't know it was pertinent for this situation.

It's a '67 Chevy truck, Woody.

You're not a [censored], it's a common problem that people don't mention the vehicle. Sorry I can't help, every vehicle is different and I only have experience with my '51.
