People have reported that they have used the smaller diameter intake without the alignment rings.
You will most likely use your original clutch housing, clutch assembly, and transmission. If its a 55 or later the pump will set low and be to long. There are adapters so you can use the old 216 pump and keep the fan in the right place on the rad. Check the arcives on this subject it has been discussed many times also useing the 216 manifold an a later 235. | | |
