I'm going to have the bed blasted and I'll be priming the bare metal. How long can I let primer sit on metal before having to topcoat it with paint? Just don't forget some if not all of the epoxy primers that I have used wants you to sand it before you coat it with something else if you let it sit for more than 3 days. Make sure to read the data sheet on what ever primer you use.

The local blasting / painting guy here uses PPG products and has you sign a waiver if he doesnt prime it. The parts go from blast to prep to epoxy primer in about an hour
