Has anyone installed one of those univeral 3 speed floor shifters in their 60-66 truck? Currently I have the 3 on the tree and it is a little loose.

I use to love my 4 speed on the floor on my C30.

Is it worth it? Does it work well? Which shifter did you use? Is it tall enough like the 4 speed? (The 4 had a tall shaft and also the high hump).

Thanks.. Russ

The 63 1/2 ton that I am restoring has a 3 speed shifter in the floor, but I want to put t back to the 3 on the tree. I need the linkages from the column down to the Trans, do you know where I can find these? The floor shifter works ok, I just want original.

Check with Classic Parts of America (used to be Chevy duty). They have one fron 1955 through 1987, but not one for the first series (1952) like I have.

Do you know where I might find one for a 1952>

Thanks
