| | | | Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 6 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 6 | Wheres a good site or shop in so cal(im in palmdale) to buy carbs for a 216 im not sure if the year matters but i have a '51, and how much should i expect to pay for a rebuilt one or a new one, i know autzone carries a champion brand but not sure what i should look for, also does anyone sell a kit for all the springs from the pedal to the carb and linkage, was gonna check a hardware store but easier to buy a kit.

Do you have the original, because some dealers will require a core? It's a very easy carb to rebuild and the kit is CHEAP. Give it a try. Did you check the "links" section on the home page? There are great links for dealers that sell what you're looking for. Of course American Classic Parts has it all, among others that support Stovebolt.
