Ok guys, this is the real deal! I can not believe it, but it held up VERY well to the lacquer thinner rub test!! I am not kidding you, I thought there was no way, I thought it would rub right off. Heck, I have seen off brand epoxy primers you spray thru a gun not hold up to the lacquer rub test. This stuff is AWESOME.

It covers well, however it is still an aerosol can and there is very little in the can. I primed a cabinet for my garage and it barely got two coats, just barely. In fact my test coupon you see in the photo only got one coat and it still held up to my AGRESSIVE lacquer rub test.

Amazing, just amazing!

Hi Brian, That pic is huge, post a link next time.

Is this carried at the FLAPS? I checked out their website and there is no info on purchasing.

I've learned to go with your endorsements, and now I NEED this stuff for my new fender.

Here is a different brand of 2-part epoxy primer. However, it might not be resistant to lacquer thinner.

Yeah Brian, what store did ya find that at? Now set me straight, once you mix the can you have to use it all up right? And how long have you got to use it?

Denny,

The Technical Data Sheet - TDS at the link given by Brian indicates it is usable for 4 days after being activated. Put it in a fridge and I bet it lasts longer (let it warm to room temperature before using).

I got mine from our Winzer rep who is a vendor of ours at the shop. If you go the link I provided I assume they can tell you of a source near you. They also have a 2k filler primer and a true 2K urethane clear. I have the others to test as well and I'll report my findings.

I'm really interested in this product but it appears they don't sell direct to the public. I sent them an email but no response after a couple of days.

Does anyone know of a source to purchase?
