Does anyone have a close up photo of the mounting location of the original type taillight brackets on a 1951 1 ton? I have new lights and right and left brackets from Chevs of the 40s,but cant seem to determine the right location.
They bolt to the back cross sill of the bed, just under the tail gate. Use the diagonal bolts that hold the sill in. I don't have pictures of mine, but I hope this helps. License plate bracket is on the left.
