I just took a smal package to UPS, (weight under 5#) to get a shipping estimate to Western Austrailia. They quoted over $ 250. Two weeks ago I took a top grill for a '41-'46 GMC to UPS the quoted over $ 250 for that piece.

UPS is steep. I have been using USPS-international. You have to fill out some simple paperwork, and I did stand in line for awhile, but I have since learned you can generate a shipment online and save yourself some time.

It was 2 small 1/4" brass airline fittings!
In the end I got them sent to my buddy in Va. Who then posted them USPS. Even though I incurred two shipping costs,it still worked out much cheaper.
It didn't take a whole lot longer to arrive either!
