on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 204 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 204 | I was wondering if there is supposed to be some sort of return spring on the catch on the hood. The latch on my hood does not have one, but on the other hand I cannot see where it would attach. If anyone can let me know or send a picture that would be great. Thanks, Mike My old truck's still running good, my ticker's ticking like they say it should, I got supper in the oven, a good woman's loving, and even my bad days aint that bad...Yeah, I'm a lucky man! 1953 Chevy 3100 Shortbed1965 C-30 Panel Truck 1963 C-20 Long/Fleet Pick-up California Black Plate

It is up in the pivot area of the catch. All I can see is the end of it setting on top of the catch. I think it is a piece of spring wire with a loop at the hinge and one end is sitting on top of the catch and the other end is probably up agains another area holding tension on the catch. Sorry, I know my explantion is clear as mud. Cleon | | |
