I have a "57. The trim numbers are 444xc with a paint code of 581. This doesn't appear correct for this truck. Can anyone decode this?

Thanks

not likely, especially the trim number, I've never seen any decoding for what's on those tags .... all the paint chips I've seen for 57 are in the 700 range .... but I doubt someone switched the tags or the factory got it wrong, we just don't know what it means, like it may be a color + pattern instruction for the line

for 57. a 781 paint code would be a 2 tone, Alpine Blue and Bombay Ivory
